Here is a selection of upholstery and upcycling projects I've been working on in my studio recently; click on an image to see more... I work with clients on re-imagining and re-upholstering their own furniture or sourcing specific pieces on commission. I track down the most gorgeous fabrics from a wide variety of manufacturers and source sample swatches to inspire you and bring your project to life.

Studio 52 is my workshop based in Twickenham, West London. Its a haven of craft and creativity where furniture and homeware is repaired and revived with modern and traditional upholstery methods, or upcycled using all manner of materials and salvaged finds. Restoring and re-upholstering saves quality furniture from going into landfill, is unique and bespoke, and can truly reflect your style in your home - and can be enjoyed for years to come.
I'm a passionate admirer of craftsmanship of all kinds, and after a 20 year career in the fashion industry, I trained in upholstery. For me, its the perfect blend of creativity, technical skill, and physical graft.
As with fashion, the right combination of fabric and form can turn an item furniture from merely functional to utterly fabulous. Having a piece of furniture reupholstered in a beautiful fabric of your choice gives you something totally unique and can transform a space.
Create your own style with a bespoke commission piece or fall in love with something you already own by having it re-upholstered in something that's totally YOU. The possibilities are limitless. Contact me to discuss your project!
